Jean and Bob's Photography Workshops

On April 18th from 1 to 4 at the beautiful Sedalia Center we will be teaching a workshop on processing photos. This is designed to teach the basics of processing in Photoshop Elements, although the information is also relevant to the full Photoshop program as well. We will start with the very basics and work up to techniques which will help you refine your processing on a more advanced level. This program will be geared toward the experience level of the students. We will begin our class with everyone learning techniques, then move on to processing one of your own photos using these techniques. We may include some shooting opportunities in order to have a photo to edit. The final plans are presently underway as we want to design this workshop to meet YOUR needs. If you are interested, or have a specific topic you want to learn-PLEASE let me know. We will do our best to cover what most students desire to learn. For questions, comments, or to register: contact me at this emailOne must have a laptop and an editing program such as Photoshop Elements or one of the Creative Suite Photoshop Programs. The lessons will be geared toward these programs.  These workshops fill up fast and due to the hands-on nature of these programs-please note that there is a limit on enrollment.

ON May 24th from 2 to 5 at the Old City Cemetery in Lynchburg will be a workshop in conjunction with Decoration Day. We will begin with some lessons in more advanced photo techniques and then go into the garden to shoot during the Decoration Day Celebration. There will be flowers and Civil War re-enactors as well as guests to the garden. After shooting we will get back together for a critique of your favorite image(s). This is a great opportunity to get some shots for the upcoming photo contest "In the Moment" at the graveyard. This annual contest is a wonderful opportunity to compete for a chance to win cash prizes and we can help you to get a winning shot!
The cost for each workshop is $75.00. You may contact me to register, or ask questions, or to make requests for the processing workshop. Please know that payment in advance and early registration will hold your spot. Our workshops have been filling up fast!
